Your Role

• Leading and mentoring backend engineers
• Participating in performance reviews and building growth plans for engineers
• Building mobile APIs and developing Micro Services to evolve the architecture
• Perfecting a number of systems that the business depend on, like risk management, fraud detection, payment processing, etc.

Your Profile

• Java software engineer back end 7+ years
• Experience with the following technologies
  
  • Java 17
  • GCP or AWS
  • Kubernetes
  • Docker
  • PostgreSQL
  • Spock
  • Spark (nice to have)
  • Working experience with Domain-Driven Design principles, practices, and patterns
  • Working experience with scalable distributed systems
  • Knowledge of different architectural patterns
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices
• French or Dutch nice to have

Our Offer

• 600 - 800 EUR/ day, depending on expertise
• 6 month initial contract,
• Hybrid 2 days /week on site in Brussels

• De technische keuzes inzake software- en hardware-architectuur bepalen
  Technologieën, hardware, software, configuraties, ... selecteren
• Informaticaprogramma's en -applicaties ontwerpen en ontwikkelen
• Technische specificaties van de informatica applicatie uitwerken en opstellen (lastenboek)
• Programmeren in een computertaal: Java
