As Project Manager, I can use my technical aptitude to develop
high-quality spatial solutions
for my customers within
the public sector in the Brussels, Walloon and Grand Duchy of Luxembourg region
. This combination of my technical background and my interest in innovative tech trends, helps me to get to the bottom of the current and future geospatial needs of our customers. Eventually this results in
new geodata product/services combinations
which I develop together with our clients and my project team. I consider myself to be an
entrepreneurial innovator
, who is able to think ahead and to develop reusable solutions that perfectly answer the needs of our customers and help them to face the future differently.
My main role within GIM is that of
'Project Manager'
and I thus have the opportunity to be involved in
GIS, geodata or Geo-ICT application projects from a to z
, namely from bid management to project delivery and follow-up. My goal is to bring real value to our customers within scope, time, quality and budget in an Agile way. With this in mind, I coordinate with our customers and project partners, and closely follow up my colleagues assigned to the project team for the duration of the project. I monitor the progress of the project and make sure that the variety of tasks, deliverables and documentation are in line with the project specifications. I manage the identified project risks and take mitigation actions when necessary.
As a new Project Manager within GIM, I can count on the coaching of senior project managers when necessary. I also
closely collaborate with our team lead and PMO
in order to optimize the overall GIM resource planning. I keep a close eye on our budget throughout the project and make sure that the project team has the necessary infrastructure resources (IT, tools..) to ensure an
excellent project delivery within time and budget
. In line with the GIM continuous improvement mindset, I actively participate in improving our PM processes based on lessons learned.
I communicate with ease in French and English with our
customers
, who appreciate the strong relationships I maintain with them. I ask for their feedback on the services and products provided and listen to their future needs, ensuring a
long term and productive collaboration
with GIM.
