What you will be doing
As an Office 365 engineer, you will join our Office 365 team, employ considerable technical skills as a solution expert and act as point of contact for Umicore's internal customer's and their various IT needs.
Your activity domain is 2-fold
As part of this Office365 team, you will be joining multiple initiatives and project driven activities in a broad Office 365 context, including known technologies from our service catalogue or even completely new ones. Next to activating and documenting new services, you will assure the related day-to-day operational support.
You will have an active role in our O365 governance, this includes working closely together with other IS application teams, security and end-user-computing teams.
Responsibilities
Weekly follow up the Microsoft Office 365 message center (= announcement of new O365 features), do an impact analysis on announced changes and give guidance to implementation of new features.
Follow up on Microsoft Support cases, and assist in detailed troubleshooting.
Analyse Office 365 usage statistics, related user subscriptions, deliver monthly overview reporting, take corrective actions where needed.
Act as an I.T digital hero in the Umicore digital workplace. Bring in O365 expertise knowledge within the Umicore worldwide network of digital heroes.
Deploy a variety of automation tasks in Office 365 context
Have a O365 expert role and serve as technical point of contact for our internal I.S. teams and Umicore business units
Assist in supporting the end-user-computing team and managed service(s) when necessary.
Participate in small business projects, in O365 context (ex. Flexdesk solutions, mass mailing initiatives, office templates ...)
Assist in the coordination and execution of live and hybrid events, ensuring seamless integration of audio and video technologies to deliver high-quality, engaging experiences for both in-person and remote audiences. Responsibilities include setting up and testing AV equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing real-time support to presenters and participants

You have a good overall knowledge of Microsoft Office products and O365
You have a basic knowledge of Azure
