Warehouse worker DHL Aviation - shift 12h-20h

Functie

As a warehouse worker for DHL Aviation, you are trained to perform following tasks: loading and sorting of incoming and outgoing shipments by trucks and plains throughout the world. DHL has an excellent on-the-job training so you don’t need to have any relevant work experience: enthusiasm and willingness to learn are far more important.

Jouw profiel

- Your knowledge of English is very good (important for all work and safety related instructions on the job).

• You have a basic knowledge of Dutch (level A1, your level can be put to the test).
• You can work full-time, 38hours a week.
• You can work during a 12h-20h shift, from Monday through Friday on a weekly base.
• You are willing to improve your knowledge of Dutch (DHL offers Dutch learning sessions).
• DHL Aviation is located on the following address: Vliegveld 117, 1820 Steenokkerzeel.

The company is accessible by all forms of transportation: Public transport, there is a bus stop next to the main entrance (Melsbroek Cargo Noord) By train (Brussels National Airport followed by a quick bus drive around Brussels airport to the cargo zone). Parking tower, bicycle and motorcycle parking.

• Het onderhoud van een opslagzone en het materieel controleren
• De logistieke activiteiten bij ontvangst, verzending en levering coördineren en controleren
• Bevoorradingsbehoeften bepalen en bestellingen uitvoeren
• Het beheer van product-, goederen- of grondstofvoorraden organiseren of controleren (codering, rotatie, ...)
• De activiteiten van een team coördineren
• Betalingen, klachten en terugzendingen opvolgen
• Interne of externe klanten informeren over de behandeling en opvolging van orders
• De ontvangst van bestellingen controleren
  De behandelingsvolgorde bepalen
• De internationale logistieke activiteiten opvolgen
• Prestatiegegevens van het personeel verzamelen (verlof, onderbrekingen wegens ziekte, uuroverzichten, ...)
• De activiteit van de heftruckchauffeurs, voorbereiders van orders, ..., plannen volgens de behandelingsvolgorde van de orders
• De verdeling van de opslagplaatsen op de site organiseren en het beheer opvolgen
• De opvolggegevens van de activiteiten registreren
  Afwijkingen vaststellen
• De bevoorrading organiseren en beheren (controle en opvolging van het verbruik, bestellingen, ...)

Shipments are delivered by truck or plane from all over the world, collected at Brucargo and sorted at destination.These shipments are then reloaded by truck or plane to their final destination.
