Senior TypeScript Developer

Mission Context:

Join an innovative Data & Middleware team supporting the merger of major European rail companies. The department drives high-quality data delivery and develops middleware solutions connecting multiple systems, enabling data-driven business innovation. You'll contribute to transforming legacy applications into modern, cloud-native, event-driven systems.

Mission Objective:

As a Senior Developer, you’ll craft and deploy features across cloud-native software products, primarily focusing on backend development, with occasional frontend work. You’ll also help build Developer Portals with documentation, tooling, and best practices. You’ll work with TypeScript and Go, hosted on Azure/AWS, within a fully automated CI/CD pipeline (Github/ArgoCD). Continuous delivery, testing, and production operation are at the core of our work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build performant Node.js applications (REST/GraphQL APIs, Workers, etc.)
• Work on React/Next.js apps for configuration screens
• Collaborate in agile teams with engineers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts
• Review code and support team members
• Maintain and improve software quality and tooling
• Deploy code regularly to production and potentially lead a project/workstream
• Help identify and resolve issues while ensuring data security

Required Knowledge & Experience:

• Senior-level experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js
• Experience designing and developing APIs and Workers in Node.js
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases
• Comfortable working in cloud environments (Azure/AWS)
• Agile mindset, collaborative, and quality-focused
