What do you do as an Internal Control Expert do at skeyes?

• Drive the Risk and Resilience vision and strategy by providing expert input that directly influences skeyes' strategic pillars: partnering with our customers, partnering with our people, and building a future-proof company.

• Develop and integrate robust, future-oriented internal control management frameworks ensuring their seamless alignment with organizational management and implementation to directly drive the organisation's strategic vision.

• Develop a clear, comprehensive internal control management policy and charter, defining roles, responsibilities, and accountability.

• Lead the end-to-end roll-out and implementation of our internal control management process across the organization, ensuring its effective adoption and integration into daily operations.
• Participate in and coordinate tasks in programs and projects related to Integrated Risk Management

• Design and oversee the global internal control reporting in view of risk communication and decision making

• Strengthen our competitive edge, and guarantee organizational innovation and future-proofing, through advanced and innovative internal control management

• Continuously evaluate internal processes and external trends, leading to the implementation of transformative enhancements.

• Monitor national and international regulations, developments and best practices in the aviation sector

• Influence and align key stakeholders on the necessity of joint actions and initiatives to effectively embed integral and integrated internal control management across the organization and its broader environment.

• Orchestrate diverse internal control management initiatives, effectively bringing together and motivating stakeholders to achieve timely and impactful results.

• Facilitate and Realise Integrated Internal Control Assessments to directly inform critical decision-making and drive the successful execution of our business strategy.

• Integrate Safety and Cyber risk management seamlessly into Integrated Internal Control Assessments, fostering a holistic view of organizational risks.
• Oversee and Assure the robust management of risks and controls associated with outsourced activities, external providers, and all third parties.
• Assure that the Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) is seamlessly aligned with skeyes' Integrated Global Risk Management

• Provide Internal Control insighst as a critical input for Business Impact Analysis, establishing a robust foundation for organizational resilience and future-proofing.

• Foster Risk Culture and Awareness throughout the organisation by coaching and guiding various experts and stakeholders in order to develop the expertise within the department and to stimulate them to optimal performance, involvement and further development in function of the service.

• Develop and deliver Internal Control Management training and awareness programs within skeyes

• Advise and support the internal departments on the Internal Control Risk Management methodology and tools to be used
• Build and maintain a network of strategic discussion partners with regard to risk management both internally and outside the organization, in order to build a professional network and realize long-term relationships for the benefit of the organization.
• Keep yourself continuously informed of evolutions and developments within your own domain and related domains and keep your knowledge up-to-date in function of the evolutions in the market in order to strengthen your credibility by offering a service that is continuously based on up-to-date knowledge.

Candidate profile

What makes you the ideal Internal Control Risk Expert?

• You hold a master's degree and have at least 8 years of relevant professional work experience related to Internal Control Management (ICM), preferably within a fast-paced operational industrial environment
• Knowledge of relevant standards such as ISO 31000, COSO and a relevant ICM certification are a plus
• You easily integrate complex information and diverse solutions to craft valuable, comprehensive strategies.
• You excel at translating high-level policies into concrete, measurable objectives, developing clear action plans
• You demonstrate the ability to make decisions based on (in)complete information and initiating the necessary actions
• You are skilled at influencing and fostering win-win solutions
• You provide targeted advice to internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships of trust
• You are a results-driven professional with a keen eye for recognizing opportunities and meeting deadlines.
• You actively drive your own professional growth
• You consider ethics to be of paramount importance and act accordingly
• You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.

Security Screening
