Based near Brussels, we are a small, hands-on team committed to bringing European fans closer to the K-pop scene and its fandom culture, with a strong focus on content, community, and launches.

📍 Kraainem (Brussels area) – Steenweg op Mechelen 455, 1950 Kraainem, Belgium

Are you a creative storyteller with a strong understanding of K-pop culture, who enjoys coming up with original ideas and turning trends into engaging, well-executed content?

At iPurple, we’re looking for a Social Media Manager who combines creativity with strong execution. You’re confident in front of the camera, skilled in editing, and able to produce content that performs and genuinely connects with our community.

Do you have an entrepreneurial mindset? Do you enjoy taking initiative, learning beyond your job description, and having a direct, visible impact on a brand’s growth?

This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You’ll manage content from ideation to publication, working closely with the team to align social media with launches, promotions, trends, and community engagement. Your work directly shapes iPurple’s visibility and growth.

As part of a small and hands-on team, this role requires autonomy, reliability, and strong team spirit. At iPurple, we don’t work in silos. We collaborate closely, sharing ideas, feedback, and responsibilities to continuously improve what we do.

Beyond content creation, this role offers broad exposure within a growing startup. You’ll be involved in multiple aspects of the company, from regular collaboration with the logistics team to contributing to new initiatives, giving you a real understanding of the full eCommerce lifecycle.

What you’ll do

  • Create engaging social media content, including regularly filming yourself, and translating K-pop news, releases, trends, and platform dynamics into timely and relevant posts

  • Manage the full content workflow from ideation to publication, including planning, production, review cycles, feedback integration, scheduling, and delivery of final content

  • Track content performance and use insights to continuously improve reach, engagement, and impact

  • Engage with the community across social media platforms and activate collaborations with fanbases, influencers, and partners to increase reach

  • Collaborate closely with the team to align content with business priorities and key moments

  • Regularly support the logistics team during major releases, peak sales periods, and special activations, and occasionally cover tasks outside your main role when needed (for example during vacations or sick days), as part of a small and flexible team

What we’re looking for

  • You already create content on TikTok or Instagram and are comfortable being on camera
  • You understand how social media algorithms work and how to make content perform
  • You combine creativity with structure and execution
  • You have an intrapreneurial mindset: you take initiative, propose ideas, and are able to execute them efficiently and impactfully from start to finish
  • You are organised, reliable, and able to anticipate work, take ownership of deliverables, and work comfortably with deadlines, review cycles, and priorities
  • You are fluent in English (other European languages are a plus)
  • You are very comfortable using tools such as CapCut, Canva, or equivalent
  • You have an interest in K-pop culture and are able to communicate authentically with this audience
  • You enjoy working in a small, hands-on team and taking responsibility for your work
  • You are comfortable working independently on content creation, while valuing teamwork, clear communication, and handling feedback constructively

Bonus points if you have

  • Experience managing a social media account independently
  • A public TikTok or Instagram account with consistent posting
  • Experience planning content around launches or campaigns
  • A good understanding of fandom culture and online communities

Profile and Studies

  • You have at least a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional experience)
  • You already have hands-on experience creating social media content, especially videos
  • You are eager to take ownership of a brand’s social media and grow with the role

  • Compensation: based on experience and profile

📬 How to Apply

Please send an email to info@ipurple.eu with:

  1. Your CV
  2. A short creative video (⚠️applications without a video will not be considered - see details below)
  3. Your availability and the type of contract you’re applying for

____________________

🎥 Important: Video application – mandatory

To apply, please send a short and creative video of yourself showing us why you're excited about this role and what you would bring to iPurple.

This video is not a traditional presentation of your CV or a list of your interests.

It is about how you relate to iPurple.

We are specifically looking for:

  • Your energy and personality on screen
  • Your creative ideas and ability to tell a story
  • Your editing and content creation skills (transitions, effects, text, music, rhythm...)
  • Your understanding of what makes engaging content
  • Your ability to speak to and engage with the K-pop fan community (being a K-pop fan yourself is not required, but having the interest and sensitivity to communicate authentically with this audience is a must)
  • Your ability to catch attention and keep viewers interested

This is the first step in our selection process, and one of the most important. It should feel like your first iPurple Reel.

⏳ There is no minimum or maximum time limit for the video – quality matters more than duration, even though we encourage a short, social-media-native format.

You can use any sharing platform (WeTransfer, Google Drive, etc.) and send the video or link to info@ipurple.eu.

📩 Please send it within 3 days of your application to be considered.

⏰ Possibility to extend to up to 6 days max only if you notify us by email at info@ipurple.eu

If we do not receive the video within 3 days – or within 6 days max if you have notified us – your application will be rejected.
