Main Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations)

• Assist with the monthly and quarterly closings

• Prepare and submit VAT declarations in accordance with Belgian regulations

• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and support journal postings

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial processes

• Provide support during the audit process

• Ensure compliance with BGAAP (Belgian GAAP) standards

About You:

• Bachelor’s or recognized professional training in Accounting, Finance, or Economics

• Recent graduate or up to 3 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance role

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and VAT legislation • Knowledge of Dutch GAAP and IFRS is a plus

• Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems is a plus (e.g., Exact)

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel

• Proactive and eager to learn

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Fluent in Dutch and English (required)
