Portfolio Monitoring Analyst Position

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Monitoring Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our analytics department, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and analyzing our insurance products and partners.

Your primary responsibility will be to generate insights that contribute to profitability, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. You will work closely with various internal stakeholders to achieve this goal.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in an analytical role are required.

Mandatory experience in the insurance sector is necessary, as well as proficiency in Excel and experience with Tableau or Power BI. International mindset, fluency in English, and one of the other official languages (Dutch or French) are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up dashboards around profitability and margin management using Excel and BI tools.
• Monitor portfolio performance and trends.
• Forecast based on historical data and market insights.
• Reserving in line with group guidelines and analytical insights.
• Collaborate closely with underwriters, finance, and sales teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in economics, mathematics, actuarial science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in an analytical role.
• Mandatory experience in the insurance sector.
• Excellent command of Excel; experience with Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proactive and strategic mindset.
• Team player who can work autonomously and communicates openly.
• International mindset, fluent in English and one of the other official languages: Dutch or French.
