Lab Technician – Microglia and Neuroinflammation Research
The laboratory of microglial biology and neuroinflammation in neurological diseases is seeking a skilled lab technician to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing hands-on support in tasks related to mouse experiments, molecular biology, and cell culture.
- Maintenance and experimentation with mouse colonies
- General molecular biology tasks: DNA and RNA analysis, cloning, etc.
- Cell culture tasks: cell lines and iPSCs
- Flow cytometry and histology
- Data documentation in electronic format
- Maintenance of general lab supplies and ordering of consumables
- Structural tasks related to biobanking
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree, Master's or PhD in neuroscience, molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, biomedicine, or related disciplines
- Experience with general molecular biology techniques
- Good communication, organizational, and writing skills
- Motivation and independence, with the ability to interact effectively with other team members
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- FELASA B certificate
