This role goes far beyond execution: you'll lay the groundwork for our platform, our team, and define our ways of working. We're looking for someone who’s ready to take ownership, grow fast, and make decisions that truly matter from day one.

Auditstage is a VC-backed AI company based in Leuven, Belgium, on a mission to revolutionize financial audits. We’re building AI-native tools that help auditors to bring automation, insight and trust to the audit process and collaborate with clients more effectively. We’re at zero employees today, growing to ten in less than a year.

🎯 What you’ll do

• Make our clients, financial auditors and their stakeholders, your north star in every decision
• Dive deep into the world of financial auditing: understand its logic, its structure, and its challenges; become an ambassador for this profession
• Shape and deliver an AI-native product that leverages the latest developments in LLMs and intelligent agents, purpose-built for this industry
• Oversee collaboration with out international subcontractor teams to ensure strategic alignment and consistent progress between DevOps, MLOps and the product owners
• Build and grow a high-trust team: help shape the culture and operating model of the company from scratch
• Own the product roadmap from MVP to market fit: lead us to a sharp, focused first product release and prioritize like a founder
• Take charge of what moves the needle: from product to process, investor reporting to internal operations - titles are fluid, ownership is not

🧠 Who you are

• You have at least 3-5 years of working experience
• You thrive in fast-changing environments: building, breaking, rebuilding doesn’t faze you
• You’re a digital native with a natural curiosity for how things work and how they can work better
• You’ve made hard decisions under pressure and know what it’s like to stand in the fire
• You’ve built something technical before: whether it's a product, a platform, or a process
• You guide teams by setting clear direction, not micromanaging execution

⭐ Bonus if you have:

• MLOps or DevOps experience
• Built or deployed an AI application
• Familiarity with ERP or accounting systems, especially around data extraction
• First-hand exposure to the complexity and frustrations of financial audits
