The #wanted profile:
- Fluent in English. French and/or Dutch are strong assets.
- Master’s degree.
- TOGAF certification or equivalent architecture framework certification is a strong asset.
- 10–15 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years as a Solution Architect in a specific domain (e.g., Financial, Customer Engagement, Production).
- Proven expertise in integration, data, business, and technology architectures.
- Strong knowledge of cross-domain impacts, governance, and enterprise-level decision-making.
- Familiar with regulations and compliance in relevant domains (e.g., GDPR, SOX, PCI-DSS).
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills with both technical experts and C-level executives.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and supervise Solution Architects and Technical Architects.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to innovation and continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities as a Tech Lead:
- Define and enforce the domain vision and ensure alignment across applications, projects, and business units.
- Guarantee cross-project and cross-application coherence to avoid silos and technical debt.
- Provide expertise and guidance on architectural principles (data mastership, integration, reporting, governance).
- Supervise and coach Solution Architects within your domain.
- Act as the governance guardian, enforcing best practices and architectural guidelines.
- Participate in strategic decision-making with enterprise architects, executives, and business leaders.
- Set up and run Architecture Boards, ensuring that architecture decisions are consistent and future-proof.
- Document and communicate domain architecture using tools such as Lucidchart, Miro, or enterprise architecture repositories.
- Monitor regulations, processes, and technological trends impacting the domain.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the architecture practice.
Performance Indicators of Outstanding Success:
- Successfully set up and led at least one Architecture Board with the client.
- Delivered a clear 5-year roadmap of the client’s projects within your domain.
- Built strong relationships with Solution Architects, identified synergies, and reduced redundancies across projects.
