Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager Europe, the Marketing Manager, Europe Build Markets supports the delivery of business objectives and growing the kiwifruit category while supporting the premium positioning of the Zespri Brand.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develops and implements marketing plans tailored for the UK build market that will grow and maximize long-term demand in line with the business objectives and global brand guidance and delivers support for the other build markets on an ad hoc basis.
  • Initiates and contributes to ad hoc marketing projects for the region and on occasion may be asked to provide temporary support in a different marketing area (e.g. by providing support to another marketing team member during particularly busy period).
  • Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager Europe and market teams to respond to the changing trade, competitor, consumer, and supply, evaluate market research and identify business opportunities.
  • Manage the efficient and effective delivery of all marketing activity within the agreed budget, operating with flexibility and recognition that supply volumes can fluctuate with fruit crop variability for the UK market.
  • Collaborates and manages relationships with agencies, local partners and third party suppliers to deliver the marketing plan.
  • Analyze and report on marketing activities to key stakeholders.
  • Track, analyze and optimize A&P investment while delivering marketing activity within agreed budget.
  • Monitor the results of the marketing activity, recommending changes and implementing improvements to strengthen the Zespri Brand preference with consumers and shoppers, to support the premium price position and increase shopper engagement and loyalty.

We are looking for an analytical professional with at least 5 years' brand marketing or product management experience in FMCG/ Trade Marketing/ Retail. You will also meet the following criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, or similar (mandatory).
  • Native level proficiency in English
  • Experience in brand marketing and trade management, across a broad set of marketing activities (ATL and BTL).
  • Valuable proven experience in online development (digital marketing, managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns and website analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google AdWords etc.).
  • SAP experience would be an advantage.
  • Analytical skills to lead the local research & attain insights
