Regional Clinical Support Specialist Benelux

The Regional Clinical Support Specialist (RCSS) will focus on Benelux, with activity also in Germany and Switzerland. The (RCSS) plays a central role in the growth of sales in Benelux, Germany and Switzerland with responsibility for educating, training, and supporting clients and leads. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging and educating the clinical community, supporting physicians in the clinical implementation of the technology, and driving market development in both established and emerging sleep markets.

We are looking for an independent, proactive professional who can further strengthen the Dutch sleep market while leading growth and change in Belgium. You will recruit and collaborate with key opinion leaders (KOLs), provide high-level clinical education, and deliver ongoing technical and clinical support to customers and prospects. Success in this role will be defined by your impact on the clinical community, the integration of WatchPAT into local clinical practice and regulations, and the resulting growth in market share.

This position requires strong clinical expertise (preferably in signal analysis), combined with commercial awareness and excellent interpersonal skills. You will work closely with the EMEA Area Business Director, Country Manager, business partners, and internal technical and clinical support teams.

In addition, the (RCSS) will support the activity of Itamar's distributors in the territory. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the company's clients and leads in understanding and implementing the company's technology, including:

  • Educate clients' medical staff and leads about Itamar's technology and its clinical aspects.

  • Provide technical and clinical training to staff in accounts.

  • Provide clients with support on demand in addressing clinical queries related to the usage of the technology.

  • Visit clients on a regular basis to educate and support the clients' staff.

  • Manage communication and collaboration with local KOLs and professional associations/ learning societies.

Required skills and background:

  • At least three years' experience in sleep medicine, either as Sleep Technician / Respiratory physiologist.

  • Background in clinical training (mentoring new staff) – Advantage

  • Residence in The Netherlands

  • Dutch mother tongue and good level of English – Must. Good level in German- Advantage

  • Ability to deliver a presentation.

  • Readiness to travel frequently within the EU with a focus on Benelux (15% of time)

  • Self-discipline, and ability to manage your own schedule.

Travel Requirements

  • 60% Travel may be outside the local area and overnight and could be for an extended period.

Physical Demands

  • The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • This position will require you to verbally communicate via in-person and/or phone conversations at least 90% of the time.

  • This position will require you to communicate via email.

  • Position requires extensive travel by various methods.
