Private Equity Intern


Become an integral part of the Horizon and/or direct investment team at WorxInvest for a period of 3 to 6 months. In this apprenticeship, you will support a small, experienced investment team and gain hands-on exposure to evaluating new investment opportunities and supporting the monitoring of our existing portfolio.


You will work on market, sector and company analyses, deal sourcing, portfolio monitoring, financial modelling, and assist in the preparation of investment memos and due diligence processes. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills in a dynamic and professional private equity environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out sector and market research, summarizing key insights for the investment team
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to support investment decisions
  • Assist in due diligence processes and preparation of investment documents
  • Support portfolio monitoring through data analysis and reporting
  • Prepare presentation and reporting materials for internal and external use

 

Profile
  • Recent graduate with a Master’s degree in Business Engineering, Finance, Economics or a related field. Outstanding academics required.
  • At least one prior internship in corporate finance, strategy consulting, investment banking or private equity is required
  • Available full-time for 3 to 6 months
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
