The Opportunity

As a Card Personalization Specialist (Business Engineer) within our Financial Services GBL, you will join our Issuance and Domestic Debit area in the Clearing & Card Management Tribe. You will work with our nCMS and Perseus products, playing a crucial role in maintaining and developing card specifications and providing expert technical support.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Master EMV specifications and manage chip card technologies for both contact and contactless cards
• Write and maintain card specifications including data preparation requirements for our nCMS and Perseus products
• Perform VISA VPA Validation and Mastercard CPV technical support
• Support EMV certificate renewals and BIN assignments for new card specifications
• Follow-up on BIN assignments and deliver new card specifications as required
• Coordinate with stakeholders for card functional testing
• Perform transaction analysis and provide monthly reports on approvals and declines

• Deep understanding of chip card’s EMV specifications and chip card technologies
• Experience with card cryptography and key management
• Familiarity with RSA, ECC, 3DES, and AES technologies
• Strong project management skills in card technology projects
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and DevOps way of working
• Ability to produce comprehensive reports and analyze transaction data
• Effective communication and liaison skills for international standardization work
• Organizational skills to manage extensive documentation
• Proficiency in reporting tools like Webfocus for transaction analysis is a plus
