Working within a division of a Fortune 200–level global multi-industrial manufacturer, the HR administrator & payroll specialist will be the first in line for all HR related questions. You will proactively support employees to drive execution of the business model and provide superior employee experience. The ideal candidate leads by example on the company values and is real ambassador of the company culture.
The HR administrator & payroll specialist will support the HR management of the division, covering all phases of the employee lifecycle. This professional will report to the HR Director and will be based in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium.
What You’ll Do
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases up to date.
- Oversee time registration systems and ensure correct data for payroll.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Handle benefits administration and respond to employee queries.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Prepare HR reports and assist with audits when needed.

- Expertise in payroll for both blue- and white-collar employees.
- Specialist knowledge in social legislation.
- Experience with payroll systems, time registration, and HR administration.
- Knowledge of employment legislation.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office; HRIS experience is a plus.
Scope: The initial focus will be on Belgium and France, but the role may expand to cover a broader divisional scope.
Must-Haves
- Bachelor´s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Minimum of 3years’ experience operating in a HR admin & payroll role with 1 year in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent time and project management must have a sense of urgency, able to prioritize including the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to understand business strategy and its HR implication.
- Fluent in Dutch, English and French (writing, speaking, listening, reading).
- Proficiency with Microsoft-Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
