Senior Ecommerce Analyst

This role is part of the Ecommerce and Digital team, supporting data-driven decision-making, sales performance analysis, and optimisation of online customer journeys to achieve business growth objectives.

This role in summary

The Senior Ecommerce Analyst is responsible for leading ecommerce performance analysis, business planning, forecasting, and financial reporting, while providing strategic recommendations and managing key stakeholder relationships to drive the growth of the ecommerce business.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Lead the analysis of ecommerce KPIs including traffic, conversion, sales, margin, and customer behaviour to support strategic decision-making
  • Drive business planning processes by developing sales forecasts and budgets in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Prepare and deliver regular financial and performance reports, highlighting risks, opportunities, and actionable insights
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across marketing, merchandising, supply chain, finance, and IT to align ecommerce objectives and initiatives
  • Lead our paid media track (SEA)
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to optimise online customer journeys, assortment planning, and promotional strategies
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor business performance and track key initiatives
  • Conduct competitor analysis, market trends evaluation, and benchmarking to inform strategy
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and best practices in reporting, analytics, and business planning processes

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
  • Experience using Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools

Preferred skills and experiences

  • Knowledge of ecommerce platforms such as VTEX or Shopify
  • Experienced in working with a CMS
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, sales forecasting, and budgeting processes
  • Has worked with a collaboration tool like Jira
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex data clearly
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decisions
  • Masters English in wording and writing. Proficiency in French and or Dutch is a pre
