What will you do as a Supply Chain Expert?
As a Supply Chain Expert you will lead the improvement in supply chain processes, procedures and systems at What’s Cooking? in order to provide maximum service level to customers and balance with high productivity, low inventory value and minimal overstocks. You will contribute in the process of setting up well-performing and harmonized supply chain processes and tools in the company.
- You build and document expert knowledge of the various supply chain processes at What’s Cooking. First focus on planning processes such a demand planning, S&OP, production planning, material planning and the tools supporting those processes.Second focus on processes incustomer service & logistics (order-to-delivery).
- You lead the implementation and roll-out of our advanced planning and scheduling tool Arkieva to each of the 5 What’s Cooking sites.
- The planned migration of our ERP software Infor M3 to the Cloud offers a unique opportunity to strengthen our processes. You work closely together with stakeholders from IT and Supply Chain to define and implement improved work processes. Specifically in the area’s of material planning, order management and transport cost management there is room for improvement.
- We are rolling out a data warehouse which offers us the opportunity to make better use of PowerBI for reporting and analysis. You have the ability to work with this tool to help you identify opportunities for improvement. You champion the roll-out of this tool towards local supply chain teams and help us become more data driven.
- You are the main point of contact between Supply Chain & IT. You analyze requests from various supply chain teams and assess whether you can help or whether a small project with or without IT is needed.
- You identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in the supply chain processes.
- Occasionally, you help out the local supply chain teams with specific requests where locally the time or expertise may be lacking. Example: Parametrization of planning tools.
- You coach and train employees with the aim of further developing competencies, skills and know-how and making optimal use of them and thus creating a well-functioning department. Responsible for training and/or change management activities to support the implementation of new processes and procedures.
Who are you?
It's not just about who you are, but who you can grow into. These are the skills we’re ideally looking for:
- + 5 years of relevant experience (production planning, etc.)
- Master level
- Previous experience with Infor M3 is considered a big plus ; Arkieva an advantage
- Keen on developing expert level competencies (we are not looking for a project manager or other generalist profile)
- Hands-on
- Willing to travel occasionally to the plants
- Fluent in English and Dutch . French is a plus.
