Your role as Cook II

  • Performing preparation work, including washing and cutting vegetables and preparing rice and noodle dishes, as part of a kitchen team of about four colleagues led by the head chef.
  • Preparing dishes according to the recipes of the head chef and carrying out quality and hygiene checks during the process.
  • Completing and checking dishes before serving, after which the service staff takes over for delivery.
  • Cleaning your own workstation, kitchen equipment, and machines at the end of each shift, and assisting kitchen assistants with general cleaning and storage of delivered goods.
  • Being a good team player with flexibility and strong communication skills.
  • Contributing to quality improvement, menu optimization, and the development of new recipes and preparation instructions.
  • Desired qualifications: MBO Level 2 (Intermediate Vocational Education) or equivalent, with knowledge of and experience in basic cooking techniques.

What we offer

  • A gross salary between €2,500 and €3,000 based on a 38-hour work week, according to the Dutch Hospitality CAO, including 25 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance.
