In the Dutch capital, near Central Station, we are looking for two independent chef K.5.II to strengthen our kitchen team. We offer you a professional working environment with a good atmosphere that fits our trendy concept.

What do you bring as a cook?

• Your tasks include performing preparatory activities such as washing vegetables, cutting and filleting salmon, cutting lamb chops and beef for various dishes, working with a kitchen team of around 10 colleagues under the supervision of the head chef.
• Preparing and cooking dishes while performing interim quality and hygiene checks.
• Preparing and checking dishes before they are handed over to the serving staff for delivery to the guests.
• Planning daily tasks and ordering food products and other stock replenishments from regular suppliers, as well as checking delivered food products.
• Supervising the work of assistant staff, giving instructions and guidance.
• Cleaning your own work area, kitchen equipment, and machines before closing, and assisting kitchen assistants in cleaning the entire kitchen and storing delivered goods.
• Being a good team player, flexible, and possessing strong communication skills.
• Contributing to the quality, optimization, and adjustment of menus, as well as developing recipes and preparation instructions.
• Required qualifications: MBO-3 level (or equivalent) culinary education with knowledge and experience in basic cooking techniques.

• A gross salary between €2500 – €3000 based on a 38-hour workweek according to the Dutch Horeca CAO, including 25 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance.
