Your Role

As a Facility Officer, you’ll be part of a dedicated team of 5 professionals ensuring the maintenance, optimization, and smooth operation of our infrastructures across Belgium – from Tessenderlo to Liège, La Louvière, and Charleroi. These include logistics halls, offices, and technical buildings.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and monitor buildings: Organize preventive and corrective maintenance, oversee technical interventions (HVAC, electricity, refrigeration, drilling, etc.).
• Coordinate improvements: Manage interior layout projects and infrastructure upgrades to meet operational needs.
• Support purchasing: Assist with procurement of goods and services (consumables, furniture, light industrial equipment, handling tools) for Weerts Group.
• Plan and prioritize: Use tools like ASANA to manage tasks and projects efficiently.
• Drive sustainability: Contribute to projects focused on energy optimization and building efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability across cultures and languages.
• Technical curiosity about HVAC, electricity, construction, and refrigeration systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools (ASANA or similar).
• Excellent communication skills in French and Dutch, with a good level of English.
• Mobility to visit sites across Tessenderlo, Liège, and Hainaut.
• Bachelor’s degree in electricity, special techniques, mechanics, or facility management, plus relevant experience.
