We are looking for a motivated and proactive Junior Business Analyst to join a global consultancy to work in their Data Strategy & Reduction Group. You will be working with a global Pharma and you will collaborate closely with scientists, lab managers, and technicians to capture requirements, facilitate platform adoption, and drive impactful data management solutions.
As a Junior Business Analyst, your primary goal will be to ensure the electronic lab notebook meets the functional needs of end-users while supporting broader data visualization and integration initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on the scientific community by enabling effective data management in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with scientists, lab managers, and technicians to gather and document requirements for the electronic lab notebook.
- Facilitate workshops and interviews to understand laboratory data workflows and reporting needs.
- Assist in testing and validating platform functionalities to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Contribute to data visualization projects, transforming user insights into practical dashboards and reports.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and engineers, to ensure smooth delivery.
- Provide user training and support to drive platform adoption and enhance proficiency.
- Support the creation of documentation, including process maps, requirements documentation, and training materials.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics).
- 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within the life sciences or pharmaceutical sector.
- Knowledge of laboratory workflows, scientific data handling, and electronic lab notebooks.
- Familiarity with data management, data visualization, and analytics concepts.
- Experience with the Tibco software platform, specifically for data visualization (Tibco Spotfire, Tableau, or Power BI preferred).
- Strong ability to engage with stakeholders, document requirements, and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Fluency in both English and French.
- Willingness to travel into the office at least once a week.
- Experience with agile methodologies a plus
Contract Details
- 6-12 Month Contract
- Daily rate 200€-250€ (Depending on experience)
- Start Date: May 2025
