Walker Cole is currently supporting for in hiring a Head of Production in Belgium. Working within a growing CDMO, the role require a strong GMP background and direct experience in ATMP manufacturing. This role will oversee clinical and commercial production, drive operational excellence, and lead a growing team in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead GMP-compliant manufacturing of ATMPs (e.g. cell & gene therapies, viral vectors).
• Manage and develop production teams across shifts and projects.
• Ensure efficient, compliant execution of batches in line with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Quality, MSAT, and Engineering on tech transfers and process improvements.
• Act as a key contact for regulatory inspections and audits.
• Contribute to capacity planning and long-term production strategy.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in GMP production of ATMPs (ideally within a CDMO).
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing manufacturing teams.
• Deep understanding of EU GMP and relevant ATMP regulations.
• French speaking is a strong advantage; English is essential.
• Must have the right to work in the EU.
