As Group Head Project Development, you hold final responsibility for the Project Development departments within the WDP group (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Romania, France, Germany, ...). You report directly to the COO.
Key responsibilities:
You provide functional leadership to the local Project Development Teams in the various countries and maintain close contact with them:
You ensure the application of WDP’s high standards in quality, safety, sustainability, and customer focus.
You develop a group-wide strategy for Project Development aligned with WDP’s business plans and sustainability ambitions. Key challenges include:
You stay ahead of innovation to support WDP’s leadership ambitions.
You serve as the key contact for project development within the organization.
Your profile
Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of modern construction techniques, project management tools, and industry trends in sustainability.
Proven ability to translate innovative, strategic vision into practical daily operations and manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
Excellent team player and people manager with strong communication skills in Dutch, English, and French.
Proactive problem solver with an entrepreneurial mindset and “can-do” mentality.
Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-growing organization.
