Quality Assurance Inspector

My client who are in the Food & Beverage industry are seeking a Quality Incident Coordinator.


What will you do:


As a Quality Incident Coordinator, you coordinate and monitor the follow-up of non-conformities, such as complaints from consumers and from internal and external stakeholders. You guarantee the quality of our products by not only following up on incidents, but also by managing, supporting and supervising the team in terms of content.

Your responsibilities:

  • You follow up on non-conformities arising from consumer complaints and reports from internal (warehouses, stores, purchasing, replenishment) and external (laboratories, suppliers, authorities, press) stakeholders.
  • You register complaints and link the necessary actions and corrective measures to them.
  • You validate and check the correct execution of the actions and measures taken.
  • You coordinate product recalls and recalls in consultation with all internal and external stakeholders involved.
  • You ensure clear and timely communication, both internally and to external parties.
  • You provide monthly reporting based on trends and analyses.
  • You guide team members in the execution of their tasks, supervise the quality of the work and offer substantive support where necessary.
  • You take an active role in informing, educating and coaching the team
  • Together with the other team members, you offer permanence for a few weeks a year via a rotation system. During these weeks, you are available 24/7 for incidents in shops and depots.
  • You report to the Quality Management Systems & Incident Manager.


Who are you

  • You have a first relevant work experience in a quality and/or production environment, preferably in the food sector.
  • You have a good knowledge of HACCP and other relevant quality standards (IFS, BRCGS...).
  • You have experience in managing or supervising within a team.
  • You are customer-oriented and know how to convey your message correctly and empathetically, even in sensitive situations.
  • You are analytical and can handle Excel and PowerBI fluently.
  • You are a real team player, but you also work independently and in a structured way.
  • You are stress resistant and know how to set priorities, even in crisis situations.
  • You have strong communication skills, both in writing and orally, in Dutch, French and English.
