Automation Engineer

I am currently working with a company specialised in the manufacturing of unique automated installations for their clients in the logistics & production industries. A big focus of this company are projects in the design and manufacturing of AGVs/AMRs, and they are looking for an experienced automation engineer who is interested in this.

Responsibilities:

• Take a significant role in the A-Z of turn-key machine building projects, being involved from design to installation of unique automated installations.
• Programming of the PLCs, HMI & SCADA systems.
• Lead the development and installation of AGVs & AMRs.
• Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and design customized automation solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to clients when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in Automation/PLC Engineering, ideally in a logistics environment.
• Significant experience in the use of Siemens PLCs & Robotics, with the ability to program from scratch required.
• Experience with AGVs or AMRs is preferred.
• Knowledge of Network Communication Protocols.
• Fluency in Dutch is preferred.
