Head of Artificial Intelligence

I'm partnered with a specialist AI consultancy hiring for a Head of AI. In this role you will be responsible for building their entire engineering function from the ground up. You’ll lead the design of our architecture and development practices, hire and manage our first engineers (FullStack Engineer, Data Engineer, AI Application Engineer), and set up the infrastructure, environments, and operations needed to consistently ship high-quality AI applications.

This is a player-coach role: you’ll architect systems, set up infrastructure, and write code - but also shape our technical strategy, lead hiring, and grow our team. You’ll work closely with our product and AI strategy leads to turn client opportunities into scalable, robust technical solutions.
