Design Store Coordinator

The Boghossian Foundation is looking for a Design Store Coordinator.

As the Design Store Coordinator, you will oversee the daily operations and strategic development of the Foundation’s Design Store. You will play a key role in enhancing the visitor experience by managing supplier relationships, ensuring smooth operations, and representing the Foundation’s values of creativity, excellence, and cultural dialogue. In addition, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of Project SILA, taking part in an exciting initiative that connects design, culture, and innovation in order to encourage further more the dialogue between oriental and western cultures.

Profile

° Based in Villa Empain, Brussels

° Availability during week-end and public holiday

Major tasks

° Store Operations & Merchandising

Maintain high visual and merchandising standards.

Ensure daily smooth running of the Store

° Inventory & Sales Management

Monitor stock levels and manage reorders.

Oversee sales reporting and cash handling

° Customer Experience

Provide a welcoming and hight-quality service to visitors

Respond to customer inquiries and support sales

° Programming Alignment

Coordinate with the team of SILA project & the artistic programming

Participate to the product selection

Personal Assistant tasks to SILA Director

° Coordinating of Private & Professional Agenda

° Sourcing, Purchasing, Deliveries

° Events

Skills

° Minimum 3 years of professional experience in retail & merchandising

° Extremely organized and resourceful

° Proactive and structured, self-initiative driven

° Solid experience in agenda coordination

° Strong negotiation mindset

° Must be available to work with flexible hours

° Proficiency in MS suite (excel, Word, PPT)

° Perfect French and English, both oral and written, Italian or Dutch is a plus

° Experience or affinity with luxury or art is a plus

° Understanding needs and improving best practice along the way
