The Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven International Sales Manager to assume responsibility for:
- Developing and implementing a strategic sales plan to grow market share and brand recognition across Europe
- Identify and closing new business opportunities with distributors, integrators, farms, and commercial clients
- Travelling regularly across Europe for client visits, training, exhibitions, and product demonstrations
- Providing expert product knowledge and technical support to customers and partners
- Negotiating pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
- Working closely with internal teams including engineering, service, and product development, to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvement
The Candidate:
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:
- Proven international sales experience (ideally 10+ years) within poultry equipment or allied livestock technology / agricultural machinery
- Specific knowledge of the poultry sector would be beneficial (housing, ventilation, feeding, climate control, automation, egg collection)
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to close deals in competitive markets
- Excellent communication (in English and one or more additional European languages), presentation, and negotiation skills
- A willingness to travel extensively and frequently across Europe
- Self-motivation, proactivity and an ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team
