Clinical Sales Representative


Your role at Vantive


Vantive is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Clinical Sales Representative to promote and sell our unique range of Acute products in the ICU and Dialyse units within the Flanders region.


In this role, you will identify the needs of healthcare providers linked to our Acute product portfolio (CRRT, sepsis management, TPE, ECCO2R, etc.), travel to customer locations within your geographical area to provide training, demonstrate products & therapies to potential or confirmed buyers, and provide services & training to our regular customers.


This exciting position is field based with extensive travel within Flanders, Belgium.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned customers and plan visits with them
  • Provide training to nurses, physicians, pharmacists about the Acute products (Prismax/flex, disposables & therapies) where needed
  • Provide assistance, support, and troubleshooting for the Acute therapies where needed (with Emergency line)
  • Prepare, implement, and review targeted account plans aligned with the Sales Manager & defined by Vantive
  • Propose and provide each customer with appropriate solutions that will maximize opportunities both for the customer and for Vantive
  • Communicate all relevant information to existing and potential customers to guarantee their awareness of Vantive product portfolio and its benefits
  • Achieve revenue, sales, profit & qualitative objectives and targets for the assigned products within own geographical area
  • Capture and maintain all relevant customer data
  • Gather and share with the Account Managers and line management all possible information on market intelligence and competitor activities to help anticipate competitive moves
  • Acquire new customers & maintain presence in all existing & target customers
  • Deliver input for budget and forecast discussion with line management
  • Contribute to the tender management process for all tenders in the allocated area (where applicable)
  • Participate in congresses and other customer events


What you’ll bring:

  • Scientific or medical/paramedical degree coupled with scientific experience, ideally from the ICU
  • Successful sales experience within Healthcare Industry/Hospital environment/medical sales
  • Excellent Dutch with good English and French
  • Ability to build lasting customer relations thanks to your strong clinical knowledge
  • Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills with good time and project management
  • Self-driven and team-oriented
