MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer experiences in line with New Balance's service model
Drive sales through strong floor leadership, advanced selling techniques, and product knowledge
Motivate, coach, and train team members to reach and exceed sales and service expectations
Support the Store Manager by analyzing floor performance (e.g., conversion, bestsellers, product placement) and acting on opportunities to improve results
Oversee daily floor operations, ensuring product availability, visual standards, and smooth execution of tasks
Act as a keyholder, responsible for store opening and closing procedures
Assist in coordinating daily rotas, scheduling, and task delegation to maintain efficient operations
Handle customer inquiries and serve as the escalation point for complaints or service issues
Support and enforce loss prevention policies to minimize shrink and maintain operational control
Uphold company standards, ensure compliance with operational policies, and foster a positive, inclusive team environment
Perform other duties as required by the Store Manager or business needs

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
Team Player
Proven experience in a supervisory position
Ability to lead and coach a team
Knowledge of retail KPIs
Previous experience in retail desirable
Demonstrate customer service skills
A passion for retail and sales
Desire to learn
Ability to perform basic maths and general retail operational processes
Understanding of POS register systems
Effective communication skills
Flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays
