Role Overview

A leading global life sciences organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant (EMEA) to support high-impact programmes across pharmaceutical, biotech, and clinical operations. This role focuses on process redesign, analytics, performance improvement, and solution implementation for complex life sciences projects.

The ideal candidate brings strong consulting delivery experience, proven problem-solving capability, and the ability to translate client business challenges into actionable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Client Delivery & Problem Solving

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify client issues and performance gaps.
• Review and interpret client requirements to develop insightful, value-add proposals.
• Lead business process redesign and support implementation across clinical, R&D, commercial, or operational functions.
• Create structured client reports, recommendations, and presentations.
• Connect business problems to appropriate solutions, methodologies, and service offerings.

Project Execution

• Deliver high-quality, on-time deliverables for life sciences projects.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain active client communication.
• Support implementation of new processes and operational initiatives.
• Work in a hands-on delivery capacity (not purely strategy).

Business Development & Leadership

• Identify follow-on opportunities and contribute to ongoing client engagement.
• Mentor or coach junior consultants as required.
• Contribute to thought leadership and best practice development.

Essential Qualifications

• Degree in Life Sciences, Business, Management, Technology, Data, Analytics, or related field.

Essential Requirements

• Proven client-facing consulting experience.
• Strong qualitative and/or quantitative analytical skills.
• Experience redesigning or implementing business processes.
• Ability to create client-ready reports and present recommendations.
• Strong client communication and expectation management skills.
• Exposure to the life sciences sector (clinical, R&D, commercial, digital, or operational functions).

Desirable Requirements

• Experience identifying and supporting follow-on business opportunities.
• Experience mentoring or coaching junior colleagues.
• Background in performance improvement, digital transformation, or analytics.
• Prior experience in a consultancy (boutique or large firm).
