ABOUT YOU

'Getting things done' is your second nature. You can manage scope, time, risk, and budget and guide your project team and the customer toward a timely and qualitative delivery of the project at hand.

You can elegantly navigate divergent interests from different stakeholders. You exude integrity and know-how because of your no-nonsense and quality-oriented approach. People trust you and like to work with you.

You are energized by coaching and developing people and at the same time you can set and guard boundaries if necessary.

You preferably have experience in applying the above competencies in an IT consulting context. You are willing to learn about and work in an expertise-driven (data) engineering environment.

ABOUT THE JOB

As projectmanger & teamlead:

• You manage scope, time, risk and budget of the project(s) at hand;
• You work towards a timely and qualitative delivery of the project in an agile way;
• You act as a trusted advisor and you cultivate enduring customer relationships;
• You are the first point of contact for both the customer and the Tropos team on the project(s) assigned to you and you act as a liaison between them;
• You translate business questions into manageable tasks for your team of data engineers;
• You do regular one-on-ones and performance reviews with the colleagues on your project team(s);
• You inspire and motivate your team(s) and you celebrate success along the way;
• You ensure that people can learn and grow on projects by having an eye for their talents and competencies and by offering hands-on learning opportunities to everyone;

• You share best practices and knowledge within Tropos

• Affinity with, and preferably experience in project management (Agile/Scrum is a plus)

• Affinity with, and preferably experience in people management
• Affinity with, and preferably experience in data analytics, IT or technology services
• Accountable, organized, problem-solving, quality & delivery focused;
• Naturally empathetic which helps you to understand the needs of our customers and your team members and to respond to them in a good way;
• A team player with a coaching attitude and a growth mindset towards oneself and others;
• Fluent in Dutch and English (other languages are a plus)
