About The Role
We are looking for a
KYC & FC Procedures Specialist - Liaison BE (Senior role) (0,8 – 1 FTE)
to play a pivotal role bridging Belgian regulatory requirements and business needs within our Group-wide framework. You will use your deep expertise to ensure our procedures are not only compliant but also operationally effective – delivering both quick solutions and shaping our long-term approach.

How You Will Make a Difference

• Knowledge owner: Developing and iteratively refining Group KYC & FC procedures, with a focus on ensuring accurate and ongoing integration of the Belgian regulatory framework.
• Bridge builder: Act as the key liaison between local Belgian teams and the wider Group. Advocate for local needs while aligning with Group standards and operational targets.
• Expert problem-solver: Leverage your KYC & Financial Crime (FC) know-how to provide swift specialist advice and guidance on the application and implementation of procedures, resolving queries and issues.
• Autonomous decision maker: Use your experience and insight to independently translate both group and local regulatory requirements into clear, risk-based, and efficient KYC&FC procedures and instructions for operational teams.
• Risk based mindset: Maintain a sharp focus on the practical impact of procedures, ensuring they are risk proportionate and workable for business teams without compromising on compliance. Be a knowledge owner on KYC &FC in Belgium but also always consider your other stakeholders.
• Stakeholder management: Build strong relationships anddrive broad collaboration and alignment across the Triodos organization within and outside of your department e.g. with Belgian operations, Compliance, Legal, IT, and other stakeholders. This to ensure seamless implementation and continuous improvement of our KYC & FC procedures.
• Strategic contributor: Balance immediate business needs ("quick fixes") with vision and design for robust, long-term solutions that enhance operational efficiency and future-proof our processes for market and regulatory developments.

Profil
What will you bring?

• Seniority & autonomy: Minimum of 5 years' experience in the KYC & FC Sector, with a proven track record in designing and implementing procedures in complex, regulated environments.
• In-depth Belgian and European legal knowledge: Profound understanding of Belgian money laundering laws, regulatory frameworks, and best practices, complemented by experience with European requirements.
• Ownership and experience: A flexible mindset and the seniority and capability to prioritize the diverse tasks, you can effectively communicate these priorities to the relevant stakeholders
• Education and qualifications: Preferably a bachelor's or master's degree and certifications that demonstrate profound knowledge in the field of KYC & Financial Crime (e.g. ACAMS / ICA) are a plus.
• Language skills: Proficiency in English and French or Dutch.

The team
You will join the KYC & FC Centre of Expertise (CoE), which is organized at group level. You will report into the Team lead Procedures, Processes & Risk Modelling. In your day-to-day work, you will closely cooperate with the other KYC & FC specialists (located in different of our Triodos branches countries) as well as with your local stakeholders.
