The Position
We are strengthening our Marketing team and looking for a
Strategic Marketing Specialis
t. In this role you will be at the forefront, executing strategic content stories that strengthen Toyota's brand reputation and drive business impact across Europe.

You will work closely with the broader marketing team and other cross-functional leaders & stakeholders in a matrixed organisation to develop and deliver high-impact communication. You will take ownership of content creation and campaign execution, ensuring all marketing efforts align with the company's overarching goals and vision. This is a key role in shaping the future of our marketing strategy and driving customer engagement.

Your Responsibities

• Story Ownership & Thought Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of core content stories to strengthen Toyota's brand reputation and support business growth, focusing on innovation, sustainability, connectivity, energy solutions, and lean thinking.
• Strategic Communication: Develop and execute marketing communication plans for launches, campaigns, and thought leadership activities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders in other business areas across the organisation to turn features & stories into customer value.
• Inbound Marketing: Support the shift to inbound content creation, focusing on customer needs & industries.
• Event Communication: Use events & fairs as momentum for launching campaigns and exhibiting our thought leadership; including planning, promotion, and partner management.
• Holistic Content Production: Plan, co-create and adapt content for written and visual content, both offline and online (from articles and white papers to social media content)
• Market Awareness: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to keep our stories relevant and differentiated.
• Project Ownership: Manage your own project budgets and supplier relationships to maximise ROI.

Your Profile

• Minimum of 7 years' experience in a marketing role, with proven success in creating and executing marketing strategies that result in measurable business growth.
• Experience in or passion for innovation, technology, sustainability, and logistics.
• Strong storytelling and narrative-building skills, with the ability to distil complex concepts into clear, compelling messages.
• Ability to coach on complex topics and steer colleagues within the marketing team.
• Creative, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in (Digital) Marketing & Communications, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in English (other languages are a plus).
