Role Description
This is a full-time (part-time possible) on-site role for a Coordinator International Digital Experience Design (iXD) at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences located in Mechelen. You are responsible for the coordination and content support of the English-taught programme International Digital Experience Design (iXD). You work closely with the teaching team, the programme manager, and industry partners.
Your responsibilities include:
- Coordinating all semester projects in the English-taught programme (Digital Product 1 to 4), including content alignment, quality assurance, evaluation, and collaboration with lecturers and external stakeholders.
- Coordinating and teaching the course Project Dynamics, covering project management principles, teamwork, client focus, and digital processes in an international context.
- Managing internships and final products (graduation projects) in the third year of the English-taught track.
- Coordinating Lab 3: Immersive Worlds, a semester project within the Dutch-language programme.
- Taking an active role in organising key programme moments such as start, theme, and feedback weeks (XD & iXD).
- Overseeing the daily operations of the English-taught programme, including intake, scheduling, communication, evaluation policy, and alignment with colleagues.
Qualifications
- You have a master's degree or equivalent through experience in digital media, design, communications, project management or a related field.
- You have demonstrable experience with digital project work and/or education in an international context.
- You speak and write English fluently (ERK-level C1); knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
- You are strong in coordination, organization and planning of complex educational projects.
- You have a heart for education and student guidance and know how to inspire a diverse student population.
- You enjoy working with colleagues, show initiative and actively contribute to teamwork and quality improvement.
