Senior ICT Expert (.NET & Web Development) – Schaarbeek (Hybrid, Long Term) We are looking for a Senior ICT Expert (.NET & Web Development) to join the GIS team within the Digitalisation and Organisation Department of the Agency for Agriculture and Fisheries (Agentschap Landbouw en Zeevisserij). The consultant will support the design, development, and maintenance of GIS-integrated web applications that serve multiple internal departments and business processes. Key Details Start Date: 01 November 2025 Duration: Mid Term (until April 2026) Location: Schaarbeek (Hybrid – onsite presence required) Language: Dutch (C2 mandatory) Engagement: Full-time Responsibilities Develop and maintain new and existing functionalities in .NET-based internal and external applications. Translate functional specifications into robust and scalable technical designs. Ensure performance, maintainability, and stability across application layers. Collaborate within the GIS and IT Development teams, promoting open and transparent communication. Share technical expertise in .NET, Angular, and GIS-related systems. Contribute to the ongoing modernization of key applications such as GISMap, ASA, LIS, Bodempaspoort, and Kamera. Must-Have Skills Minimum 10 years of professional experience in .NET (C#) development. Proven experience with WCF and ASP.NET Web API. Strong background in Entity Framework (Core). Expertise in browser-side JavaScript development (TypeScript, Angular 18 or higher). Solid experience with OpenLayers and .NET 6+ / .NET Framework. Good understanding of GIS systems and related tools. Working knowledge of Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL) and SQL Server. Knowledge of Design Patterns and Oracle Spatial. Fluent in Dutch (C2 level). Should-Have Skills Knowledge of Python programming. Familiarity with CSS and Bootstrap. Experience with GIT source control. Understanding of Scrum or Agile methodology. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
