Security Consultant (Senior) - Brussels / Ghent (Hybrid, Long Term) We are looking for an experienced Security Consultant (Senior) to join a large-scale public sector digital transformation program focused on strengthening information security, governance, and risk management practices across multiple domains. Key Details Start: October 2025 | Duration: Long Term (full-time) Location: Brussels / Ghent - Hybrid (onsite presence required) Language: Dutch (C2) mandatory + English (technical reading) Responsibilities Implement and monitor organization-wide information security measures. Conduct risk analyses, vulnerability assessments, and compliance checks. Support ISMS implementation and ISO 27001 certification efforts. Develop and maintain security policies, incident management, and awareness programs. Advise stakeholders on data protection, access control, and NIS2 compliance. Collaborate with IT and business units on secure solution design and governance. Must-Have Skills 5+ years of experience as Security Consultant or Information Security Officer. Strong background in ISMS, ISO 27001/27005, COBIT, NIST, and OWASP frameworks. Experience with risk management, audits, and governance processes. Familiarity with ITIL and Agile/Scrum delivery models. Preferred certifications: CISM, CISSP, CEH, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor.
