Events Assistant

We're looking for part-time students to join our vibrant team at The Nine, the pioneering Belgian female-focused private club. We are in search of an enthusiastic and versatile individuals to contribute to our unique establishment. As a key staff member of The Nine, you will be a vital part of creating an inviting and exceptional experience for our esteemed members. Your service skills and passion for hospitality will help shape unforgettable moments within our distinctive environment. ⚠️ This is primarily an evening position (5:00 PM–10:30 PM), with an hourly rate of €14. Key Responsibilities - Support the preparation, execution, and wrap-up of events (before, during, and after) - Welcome speakers, members, and guests; ensure a smooth guest journey - Assist with room setup, logistics, and breakdown (furniture, signage, materials) - Coordinate on-site needs during events and respond quickly to operational issues - Manage basic event tech (mic, screen, presentations, ...) - Liaise with internal teams (bar, kitchen, front desk) during events - Ensure spaces are left clean, organised, and reset according to standards - Help with promotion & event management - Currently under student status - Strong organisational skills and attention to detail - Proactive, reliable, and solution-oriented mindset - Comfortable interacting with a diverse, international audience - Able to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced event environment - Excellent English required; French and/or Dutch are a strong plus - Interest in events, community-building, culture, or hospitality - Alignment with The Nine’s values - Part-time student contract - Competitive hourly salary - Transport costs reimbursed - Mainly Monday to Friday (occasional evening events; very limited weekends) - Evening position (5:00 PM–10:30 PM) Why Join The Nine - Hands-on experience in high-level event management - Exposure to inspiring speakers, partners, and community members - Flexible and balanced schedule compatible with studies - Inclusive, supportive, and collaborative work environment - Opportunity to grow alongside a fast-evolving events programme - Meaningful contribution to a unique and values-driven concept Join The Nine and immerse yourself in a fulfilling work experience that offers a balanced schedule, collaborative atmosphere, and the opportunity to be a part of something truly special.
