Business Analyst


Tasks

  • Interaction with other business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers
  • Assist DG ENEST in the use of IT tools used by the RELEX-family (such as OPSYS and SUMMA) and the onboarding of new IT tools (or modules for existing IT tools) via coaching, training or written guidance
  • Facilitate the alignment of DG ENEST procedures and working methods with those required by the architecture of the new IT systems and contribute to the fine-tuning of business requirements to ensure that DG ENEST's business needs are met.
  • Screening of current administrative and financial procedures as specified in DG ENEST's financial circuit policy (and at a more general level in DG ENEST's Manual Administrative Procedures) against the needs and requirements of the new IT systems-logic and propose the necessary update to procedural documents and checklists in line with existing rules and regulations.
  • Providing input for the final business requirements of the new IT tools on behalf of DG ENEST based on the outcome of the screening of the current administrative and financial procedures applicable for DG ENEST and contribute to change management activities (e.g. for onboarding of e-grants).
  • Knowledge sharing on financial IT systems used by DG ENEST in a structured way with stakeholders within ENEST and its EU Delegations.
  • Assist with internal and external communication by improving of transparency and dissemination of information.
  • Assist with prioritization and resolution of defects / bugs.
  • Act as back up for the IT financial systems permissions management
  • Analysis of Business requirements.
  • Documentation of Business requirements.
  • Business model analysis.
  • Business process analysis.
  • Functional requirements and business cases analysis.

Requirements

  • B2 level of English minimum. Any level of French is an asset.
  • At least 5 years of specific expertise with large, enterprise-level multi-user Information Systems
  • At least 5 years of specific expertise in Agile, PM2, Prince2, PMP, ITIL
  • At least 5 years of specific expertise in Business Analysis in the context of management of Public finance
  • At least 5 years of specific expertise in agile toolbox (i.e. JIRA, Confluence, Gitlab etc.)
  • At least 5 years of specific expertise in Application Management Lifecycle

Following certificates & standards are considered an added value for the performance of tasks:

  • Certified in PM2
  • ITIL certification
  • PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis)
