Service description:
Within the National Control Center department, we have the ambition to become a more data centric organization to improve the quality of our system operations and finally the security of supply for Belgian consumers. Data is indeed becoming increasingly important to support operational, tactical and strategical activities and decision-making.
Currently, we have defined the critical data domains for which we aim to implement a dedicated data quality roadmap. In that context,
we are looking for two Operational Data Lead services who will
drive the data quality strategy of several critical operational data domains which are essential to operate our Belgian electricity grid and market
.
As an example, the service is responsible for improving quality of our forecasted data of solar & wind renewable production to be used by the entire organization - internal customers as well as external customers (market players, etc.)-. The service is responsible for implementing FAIR principles (data must be easily accessible, understood, exchangeable and reusable), developing the data quality strategy and the associated roadmap for the evolution of the data domain while being a key stakeholder in making the link between operations and the various projects and products that impact the data domain.
The Operational data lead defines and monitors KPIs related to the quality of the data activities in a scope of data assigned to him/her. The Operational data lead manages action plans for the improvement of these KPIs.
