Senior Business Analyst

Are you a Product Owner or Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in one of the following post‑trade, clearing, CSD operations and corporate events ? This is a rare opportunity to help build a brand‑new post‑trade system across the European market infrastructure — with major focus on IPO event processing and corporate actions .

Our client is seeking a delivery‑driven hybrid Product Owner/BA who can shape product vision while working hands‑on with IT to design, analyse and deliver complex functional requirements across multiple locations.

The role:

This role blends product ownership, business analysis and delivery leadership across the post‑trade lifecycle.

Core Responsibilities

• Own and evolve a product domain within post‑trade, clearing or CSD operations
• Lead requirements gathering, process mapping and functional analysis
• Write detailed functional specifications , user stories and acceptance criteria
• Work closely with IT architects, developers and QA teams throughout the build lifecycle
• Support the delivery of a new CSD/post‑trade platform , ensuring multi‑market alignment
• Conduct end‑to‑end analysis across corporate actions, IPO events, asset servicing, settlement and reconciliation
• Prioritise features, manage stakeholder expectations and maintain product backlog quality
• Conduct market and competitor assessments to inform commercial and strategic decisions
• Collaborate with risk, legal, finance and client‑facing teams to ensure compliant and value-driven delivery
• Drive workshops, requirements sessions and cross‑functional working groups

What You Bring

• Strong background as a Product Owner, Senior Business Analyst or hybrid BA/PO
• Deep understanding of post‑trade, CSD, custodian, clearing or corporate actions , including IPO event processing
• Proven experience writing detailed functional documentation and working directly with IT delivery teams
• Strong product lifecycle and change management experience
• Excellent stakeholder management across business and technology teams
• Analytical, structured and comfortable operating in complex, a global and cross-border environment
• International experience and ability to work across multiple markets
