Your role:

Are you a data-savvy Master’s student who enjoys wrangling Python scripts, optimizing SQL queries, and flexing those Power BI muscles? Then you might survive a summer with us on the Data Analytics Team at TREMEC. You’ll work side by side with the team to automate, clean and visualize data – all in the name of supporting cutting-edge automotive development.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize data workflows using Python and SQL.
• Help clean, transform, and structure engineering and manufacturing data across multiple systems.
• Collaborate with the team to identify, design, and implement automation and reporting improvements.
• Support and enhance Power BI dashboards with Direct Query on SQL
• Document your work as if someone will read it. Because they will.
• Leverage LLMs and AI assistants as part of your daily toolkit – you’re not expected to do this alone.

Your profile:

• You're a Master’s student in Data Science, Civil Engineering, or similar with a soft spot for data.
• You’ve got strong Python skills. SQL skills is a plus.
• You’ve used Power BI before and survived. Bonus points if you know what Direct Query is.
• You’ve worked with or are curious about AI assistants and LLMs, and how they can boost productivity.
• You’ve heard of TREMEC (or at least Googled/CGPTed us after reading this).
• You can work independently, think critically, and know when to ask questions or for help.

When do we want you?

• 4 weeks minimum so we can pass the introductory training period and you can produce the most of it.
• Any time from June to September.
