Public Buyer

We are seeking a Public Buyer to manage and optimize procurement processes. The role involves executing purchasing procedures in compliance with regulations while ensuring efficiency and continuity for internal stakeholders. You will analyze organizational needs, conduct market research, and select suppliers to secure the best terms for price, quality, and delivery. You will collaborate with colleagues on projects that directly impact operational performance and organizational success.

• Translate client needs into effective procurement strategies and procedures.
• Conduct market research, draft specifications, and define selection and award criteria.
• Evaluate supplier offers, negotiate terms, and justify contract awards.
• Monitor ongoing contracts, assess supplier performance, and manage complaints or penalties.
• Identify procurement process improvements and provide progress reports to management.

What we expect from you:

• 3+ years of procurement experience, with knowledge of 3P processes preferred.
• Advanced skills in contract management, supplier evaluation, logistics, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong negotiation and offer management abilities.
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English.
