We are seeking a Junior System Engineer to support our IT infrastructure and ensure the smooth operation of our systems. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of networking principles and a keen interest in developing their skills in system engineering.

Your key Responsibilities will include

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and networks.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Support the implementation of network security measures and protocols.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and maintain system documentation.
• Provide technical support to end-users and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Participate in the planning and execution of IT projects and upgrades.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and system administration tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; good knowledge of French is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA) are a plus
