Team Manager

About the role:

As a Team Manager at De Jong Box B.V., you will be responsible for managing and optimizing all activities at our production site. You will ensure that operational processes run efficiently and that production targets are met. You will lead a team of employees and ensure a safe and productive working environment. You will also be the first point of contact for the management team.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the operational team on site;
• Managing a diverse team of approximately 50 employees;
• Optimizing production processes and implementing improvements;
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards;
• Managing budgets and cost control;
• Collaborating with departments such as finance, operational excellence, safety, sustainability, IT, procurement, and HR;
• Setting and achieving operational goals and KPI's;
• Acting as a link between the site and central management;
• Promoting a positive and engaged work atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree working and thinking level;
• At least 5 years of proven experience in a leadership role within a production or logistics environment;
• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams;
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch & English;
• Problem-solving ability and result-oriented;
• You are result-oriented, communicatively strong, and know how to motivate people.
