Our client is building one of the most advanced glass factories in the world, located in Lommel. This ultramodern production site stands out for its strong focus on sustainability, automation, and technological innovation.

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and operating this state-of-the-art production environment, where safety, efficiency, and environmental awareness are central.

🛠 Your Role

Depending on your background (mechanical or electrical), you will join one of the maintenance teams. Your responsibilities include:

• Analyzing and resolving technical failures in machines and installations
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance
• Calibrating, adjusting, and checking components and systems
• Contributing ideas for technical improvements within your department
• Working closely with technicians and operators to ensure safe and stable operations
• Accurately documenting interventions in the maintenance system

• Technical education or relevant experience in industrial maintenance
• Strong skills in mechanical and/or electrical disciplines
• Solution-oriented mindset and team spirit
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• Willingness to work in a 6-shift system
• Looking for a stable, long-term career opportunity
• Good command of English

⏱ 6-shift system with work-life balance

• 2 weeks of day shifts
• 4 out of 6 weekends off

Shift structure:

• Week 1 & 2: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:00
• Week 3: Monday–Friday, 00:00–08:00 (night shift)
• Week 4: Monday–Wednesday, 16:00–00:00 + weekend 20:00–08:00
• Week 5: Weekdays off, working Saturday & Sunday 08:00–20:00
• Week 6: Thursday & Friday, 16:00–00:00

💶 Salary & Allowances

• Starting salary: €24.20 gross/hour (excluding shift premiums)

Shift premiums:

• Early shift: +5%
• Late shift: +10%
• Night shift: +20%
• Saturday: +30%
• Sunday: +35%

Before start-up, you will receive extensive training in day shifts, allowing you to fully understand the installations, systems, and standards from day one.
