We are looking for an Account and Business Development Manager to join our MRO Business Unit. Reporting directly to the MRO Business Unit Manager, you will play a key role in managing customer accounts (OEMs, airlines and MROs) and driving business development initiatives within the aftersales market (spares and repairs).
This role combines account management, business development and strategic growth responsibilities, ensuring revenue increase and customer satisfaction across our MRO activities.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
Manage and develop strong commercial relationships with your assigned customers portfolio.
Ensure contractual obligations of both customers and Sonaca are fulfilled.
Handle and resolve potential customer issues and conflicts.
Provide market and customer feedback to leadership regarding competitive positioning and development opportunities.
Provide regular and accurate reporting (sales revenue, EBITDA, forecasts,…)
Lead the contract administrators team managing customer orders from reception to delivery.
Develop and maintain databases and catalogs for spares and repairs, ensuring margin and cost optimization.
Business Development
Assess and drive new market opportunities in line with Sonaca strategy.
Identify new business with existing customers and prospects, and lead commercial proposals, presentations and negotiations.
Prepare, lead and participate in contract negotiations.
Support the development of strategic partnerships and expand geographical footprints when relevant.
Monitor MRO industry developments and proactively propose growth initiatives.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Sonaca products.
Profile & Skills
Master's degree in Business Administration and/or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 10 years of proven experience in Sales, Account Management, Business Development, Engineering and/or Manufacturing, ideally within the aerospace sector.
Understanding of Part 145 regulations.
Fluent in English and French (spoken and written).
Demonstrated ability to build and manage senior-level relationships, internally and externally.
Strong leadership skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
Analytical, organized and results-oriented, with the ability to take decisions autonomously and prioritize effectively under pressure.
