Position: Payroll Specialist – Belgium Operations

About the Role

As part of the payroll function, you'll be responsible for processing monthly compensation for employees based in Belgium—both white and blue-collar. Your attention to detail will support not only financial accuracy but also employee trust and satisfaction. You'll act as a vital link between HR, Finance, external providers, and internal stakeholders, contributing to efficient payroll delivery and ongoing improvement of payroll systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll processing for approximately 500 employees in Belgium
• Review, validate, and reconcile payroll inputs including new hires, terminations, absences, and bonuses
• Liaise with payroll vendors to oversee output accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Manage employee queries related to payroll and benefits via internal service channels
• Generate payroll reports and accounting outputs in collaboration with the Finance department
• Monitor regulatory changes in Belgian payroll law and ensure continuous compliance
• Support the administration of employee benefits and maintain internal payroll records

What You'll Bring

• Demonstrable experience in payroll administration within the Belgian market
• Up-to-date knowledge of local employment tax, social security, and labour regulations
• Proficient in Excel, including advanced formulas and data tools
• High attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
• Experience working with external payroll providers and internal finance/HR systems
• Strong organizational and time management skills
